Siren FM: Professor Andrew Hunter talks about heading up collaborative project to combat disease

 

Professor Hunter, who is the REtinal Vascular Modelling, Measurement and Diagnosis (REVAMMAD) project originator and coordinator, spoke about the aims of the research during Siren FM’s drivetime show.
Scientists from across the EU are in Lincoln for a two-week training workshop.

The aim of the project is to train a new generation of interdisciplinary scientists for the academic, clinical and industrial sectors, and to further advances in diagnosis, prognosis and prevention of diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, stroke and coronary heart disease and retinal diseases.
